Homemade Pizza

Pizza Gravy is a versatile and flavorful base for a variety of pizza recipes. This homemade sauce, enhanced with Bharat Pizza Masala, adds a rich and authentic taste to your pizzas, making them irresistibly delicious.

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium tomatoes
  • 1 big onion (ground into a paste)
  • 2 teaspoons finely chopped garlic
  • Half cup tomato ketchup
  • 4 teaspoons olive oil or butter
  • 3 teaspoons Bharat Pizza Masala
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Prepare the Tomato Pulp: Start by boiling the tomatoes in water until they are soft. Once cooled, peel off the skins and grind the tomatoes in a mixer to make a smooth pulp.
  2. Cook the Base: In a pan, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the ground onion and chopped garlic. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is fragrant and the onions are golden brown.
  3. Simmer the Sauce: Add the tomato pulp to the pan and let it simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together. Stir in the tomato ketchup and Bharat Pizza Masala, and cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Finish and Serve: Your pizza gravy is now ready. For a Jain option, simply skip the onion and garlic. Use this rich, flavorful sauce as a base for your favorite pizza recipes.

 

Classic Vegetable Pizza

4 pizza bases, 2 cups pizza gravy, 1 cup sliced bell peppers (red, yellow, and green), 1 cup sliced mushrooms, 1 cup sliced black olives, 1 cup sweet corn kernels, 2 cups shredded cheese (Amul or mozzarella), 1 teaspoon dried oregano, 1 teaspoon dried basil, salt and pepper to taste.
Method- Coat a baking tray with oil and place the pizza bases on it. Spread the prepared Bharat Pizza Gravy evenly over each base. Top the pizzas with vegetables of your choice. Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded cheese over the vegetables. Bake the pizzas in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes, or until the cheese is golden brown and bubbly. Once baked, cut the pizzas into slices and sprinkle oregano, dried basil.

Mexican Pizza-

Ingredients: 4 pizza bases, 2 cups pizza gravy, 1 cup rajma (soaked for 5 hours and boiled), 2 cups sliced capsicum, 2 cups cheese
Method: Begin by adding the boiled rajma to the prepared tomato gravy and cook for 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to blend. Place the pizza bases on a baking tray. Spread the rajma topping evenly over each base. Add sliced capsicum on top, then sprinkle generously with cheese. Bake the pizzas in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Once done, cut the pizzas into slices and serve hot, enjoying the fusion of Mexican and Italian flavors.

Original Margarita Pizza-

Ingredients: 4 pizza bases, 2 cups pizza gravy, 2 medium tomatoes (thinly sliced), 2 cups shredded cheese
Method: Coat a baking tray with oil and place the pizza bases on it. Spread the prepared Bharat Pizza Gravy evenly over each base. Top the pizzas with thinly sliced tomatoes. Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded cheese over the vegetables. Bake the pizzas in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes, or until the cheese is golden brown and bubbly. Once baked, cut the pizzas into slices and serve hot, and relishing the classic flavors of a Margarita Pizza.

Chinese Pizza (Low Calorie Pizza)

Ingredients: 4 pizza bases, 2 cups prepared Bharat Pizza Gravy, 4 teaspoons white sesame seeds, 2 teaspoons finely chopped garlic, half cup paneer pieces, 4 teaspoons soy sauce, 2 teaspoons oil, salt and pepper to taste, 1 cup chopped spring onion.
Method: To prepare the topping, in a pan, heat the oil over medium heat. Add sesame seeds, garlic, paneer pieces, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes until the ingredients are well combined and the paneer is lightly browned. Spread the Bharat Pizza Gravy over the pizza bases. Add the prepared topping evenly on each base. Bake the pizzas in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes, or until the edges are crispy and the toppings are heated through. Cut into slices and serve hot, garnished with chopped spring onions, enjoying a flavorful and healthy pizza alternative.
