Egg Curry

Egg Curry is a flavorful dish that combines the richness of boiled eggs with a spicy, aromatic gravy. This recipe enhances the classic egg curry with Bharat Egg Curry Masala, ensuring a burst of flavors that will make this dish a favorite at your dining table.

Ingredients:

  • 3 boiled eggs
  • 2 medium-sized tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 medium-sized onion, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons oil for cooking
  • Half teaspoon cumin seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped coriander leaves
  • 4 tablespoons Bharat Egg Curry Masala

Method-

  1. Prepare Tomato-Onion Paste: Grind tomatoes and onions into a smooth paste using a blender or food processor.
  2. Sauté Onion Paste: Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle. Add the chopped onion paste to the pan. Sauté until the onions turn golden brown and the raw smell disappears.
  3. Cook Tomato Puree: Add the tomato puree to the pan. Cook the mixture, stirring occasionally, until the puree reduces and releases oil around the edges.
  4. Spice it up: Sprinkle 4 tablespoons of Bharat Egg Curry Masala into the pan. Mix well to coat the onion-tomato mixture evenly with the spices. Cook for about 2 minutes to toast the spices and enhance their flavors.
  5. Simmer the Curry: Pour in 1 cup of water and stir to combine. Let the curry simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together and the gravy to thicken slightly.
  6. Add Boiled Eggs: Carefully place the half-cut boiled eggs into the simmering curry. Spoon some of the gravy over the eggs to coat them.
  7. Garnish and Serve: Garnish the Egg Curry Masala with finely chopped coriander leaves for a fresh burst of flavor and aroma. Serve hot with your choice of bread, such as roti or naan.
  8. Pro Tip to Adjust Spice Levels: Customize the spiciness of the curry by adjusting the amount of Bharat Egg Curry Masala according to your taste preference.
