 Cilantro

(Alternate Name: Coriander Leaf//Dhania)

If you are from an Indian household, you will always find this herb in your house no matter what. You either love cilantro or you hate it, there is nowhere in between! Cilantro is added as a garnish in Indian foods and is often added in salads as well.

Cilantro helps in lowering blood sugar. It may also help in reducing unpleasant symptoms like bloating and discomfort.

Coriander exhibits antimicrobial effects that may help fight foodborne illnesses and pathogens like Salmonella.  It is the most versatile ingredient ever! Corriander leaves and seeds come handy in everyday cooking.

Mint

(Alternate Name: Phudina)

It is usually of two types- Peppermint and Spearmint. Peppermint has a strong, cooling aftertaste due to the high concentration of menthol; spearmint is lighter and sweeter to the palate.

Mint is popularly added to savoury as well as sweet foods. It is a common ingredient in Thai food. Mint is also popularly used in mocktails.

Parsley

Often confused with cilantro, parsley is popularly used for garnishing foods ALL OVER THE WORLD!
